Netflix Review Tiny pretty things
Dramas dealing with the wonderful world, such as chess and ballet, are often really successful or catastrophic. The reason is that most audiences are full of jargon that they don't understand well. It's time for them to be able to generate interest in great directing skills and learning a lot like Queen's Gambit in order to be a box office hit. Otherwise, the situation will worsen and have a counterproductive effect of distraction. Then how about small and pretty things?
A party is being held on the roof of a building in Chicago. And a girl is dancing on a rooftop railing. Someone in a black hood comes up to her with a white rose. She tried to get away from him and eventually fell off the roof.
After Cassie's accident, Nubei was selected as a dancer in Englewood, California, and came to Chicago. It is the elite ballet academy. The academy's principal, Monique, chose Neweia to show that it is a place where children who are interested in diversity and talented give them a chance to grow up.
Nubeia finds out about the competition she faces in her first ballet class. First, Beth is the younger sister of Delia, the principal dancer at the Academy. Bett doesn't recognize Nubei's talent, but he thinks she's a threat. Nubei's roommate Jun is also under tremendous pressure from his mother. If Jun doesn't become a top dancer, she thinks it's a waste of time and money.
The same goes for boys. Oranges who date Beth but also relate to Shane. The Academy is on the verge of exploding due to the intertwining emotions of Kathy's long-time dance partner, Naville and others.
The little and pretty things that I love are based on the original novel. But while watching the first episode, I just shrugged my shoulders without realizing it. Each character has an internal risk, but it's just dirty when you look at the whole series. Who will be the chief dancer, who will receive excellent education, and who will be successful in Nubei? Even such interest diminishes.
There are so many characters and plots that it becomes increasingly difficult to figure out who is who and what to find out from their stories. Especially between men is so confusing. Except for Shane, the rest of the boys can't recognize each other even if they change roles. So many things are happening that we don't know what to follow. Police dig into Kathy's accident as if she were a lone detective, a personal feeling that she just lost her wife recently and couldn't get over it.
In addition, it continues to be ambiguous whether Kathy is dead or not. In fact, Kathy is struggling to survive in a coma after the crash, but it is not clear whether she is aware of her fate or even interested in the school.
Most dance scenes are interesting. It is because it is made up of talented cast members. But if you watch this drama, you won't want to enroll my child in ballet class. Valera will know how emotionally hurt art is through this drama.
Movies and series about 'one shot' usually deal with big criminal events that make everyone rich. But what if the crime had a bigger story about someone who wanted to reveal the truth about his father's death? This is the idea of the new French drama Lupin.
the Louvre night Cleaners enter through the underground entrance and pick up their supplies. Ashan Diop (Omar City) is one of them. He movers and dusts, admiring the works in front of him. Particularly noticeable was the necklace Louis XVI gave to Marie Antoinette.
After cleaning up, Asan says she met her everything, Claire (Luddivine Sanieri), and found a new job. He gives child support to his teenage son Raul. Afterwards, Asan will visit the gangsters Vincent, Kevin, and Rudy, who had borrowed money before. Although they don't have the money to pay back now, they get through them, saying there is a way to touch more money, and then plan to steal Marie Antoinette's necklace when it is auctioned at the Louvre Museum auction. But for Asan, the necklace is not just a piece of precious metal.
In 1995, while Asan was a teenager, his father, Babacar, began working as a driver for the Pellegrini family. Mrs. Pellegrini liked Babacar and Asan, and when Babacar admired the books in her study, she was told to pick out a book and bring it to Asan. Then Babakar chooses the Arsene Lupin book. One day, when the Mari Antoinette necklace, which belonged to the Pellegrini family, was stolen, Mr. Pellegrini suspects the driver, Babacar, who was hanging around the library. Babaakar, who was unjustly imprisoned, ended up killing himself, and Asan became alone.
On the day of the Louvre auction again. As the three gangs carry out their plan to pretend to be cleaners and bodyguards, Asan sits among the bidders in a high-end suit. As part of the plan, Asan will bid for the necklace for 60 million euros. However, the gang betrayed Asan and ran away with the necklace, but they ended up being caught by the police. Arsen, on the other hand, walked proudly out of the Louvre Museum.
It is reminiscent of Netflix's two series about thieves. It is 'The House of Paper' and 'The Thieves of the Century'. But it seems to have more personal feelings than the shows.
Lupin is not just about professional theft. It is not the purpose of retiring through one stroke. Asan wants to stop stealing but tries to steal Marie Antoinette's necklace. It's not just about material wealth, it's personal. He knows well that there is no evidence that his father stole the necklace 25 years ago. And I know that my father committed suicide unjustly. That's why Asan wants to continue the unfinished business with the Pellegrini family.
Furthermore, at the end of the first episode, when we find out that Asan is not a person struggling to make ends meet, our view of the drama changes. It is not a six-sense twist and shock, but it is surprising enough to see the scene from a different perspective.
We know this story follows the story of a mysterious Arsene Lupang. I know how the thief has been hiding while his plans were broken, getting others to follow his orders, and not to be questioned himself. Now we will find out through Asan's eyes how it affected his father's death.
In addition, Omar's acting is as good as Asan. It simultaneously digests humble cleaners and bold industry moguls. You must watch this drama to see his great acting.
